COMPUKIDZ

"An organization that donates computers to needy families in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas"

In 1988, Brook Boswell, started his own company. BOZCO provides computer training and computer-related services, including software, upgrades and repairs to small and medium sized businesses. From there he has ventured into an organization that gives children a better chance at learning.

In 1994, CompuKidz, a not-for-profit organization, was founded by Brook Boswell. CompuKidz is an organization that gives out computers to children in need. CompuKidz will again be giving ten (10) personal Computers to underprivileged families. The computers, donated by Houston businesses, are loaded with programs such as Wordperfect, Quicken and various games.

"Single-parent families, particularly ones with single mothers, are the main focus for the free computers" said Boswell and "So often funds are unavailable for home computers, and all children should have the same advantages, at home or in the classroom."

CompuKidz is basing selection of the free computers on need. If you know of individuals in the Houston Area who are interested in obtaining the free computers please have them submit a letter to Richard Martin by June 1, 1996. The computers will be delivered by June 10, 1996. Applications by phone or E-mail will not be accepted.

The letters should include the name\s and age\s of the child\children, address and phone number. A brief paragraph stating why they are in need of a computer. Submit a request by letter, with return address and phone number, to:
